I have been working at Alta Rancho Pet and Bird Hospital for almost a year, as an assistant. The best part of my job is getting to spend time with the boarding animals and getting to watch some of the more interesting surgeries.

   I have two pets, a Felis catus, house cat, named Skeletor, and a Lampropetlis getula, a common kingsnake, named Mr. Slithers. In my spare time with my pets, I enjoy training Skeletor to do various tricks such as sit, clap, and open doors. Mr. Slithers still refuses to learn any tricks. I hope to eventually get a German Shepard, after I move to a place that allows for larger pets.

    Currently I am finishing up my Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology with a minor in Chemistry, where I specialize in  physiology. In my spare time I root for the Red Sox, and go camping.
