is clear that by doing routine examinations, lab testing, diagnostic
imaging, routine dental care and nutritional management we can improve
the quality and length of our pet's lives while reducing your overall
financial outlay for veterinary services. As a reward for your
partnership in our preventive medical efforts, we have developed
life-stage appropriate service packages, which provide your pet with all
the services we feel will optimize their health while offering you substantial savings in
the overall cost of their care. For all the programs
below, all of the services must be completed during the same exam to
receive the savings.
We have 5 Health-Guard programs for both dogs and cats:
Healthguard I-- Puppy and Kitten packages:
These programs are developed to provide your new pet with
the physical examinations, appropriate sets of
immunizations against
contagious disease,
internal and external parasite control,
nutritional
counseling at a 20% savings from the standard fees for these
services.
These programs offer an
additional 10% savings on:
Healthguard II-- Young Adult packages:
This package is designed
for the young adult pet ages 1-5 years. It includes the following
services and products at a 10% savings
(average savings
$21.00-30.00)
- Comprehensive Physical Examination
- Blood pressure evaluation
- Glaucoma Screening

- Stool Parasite and Giardia Test
- Heartworm test for dogs
- Frontline Plus Flea and Tick Control
- Iverhart Plus Heartworm and intestinal parasite

Healthguard III-- Adult package:
This package is designed for the adult pet
ages 5 years and older. It includes all of the services in the
Healthguard II package as well as the following services and
products at a 15% savings (average savings $60.00!)
Healthguard IV-- Mature Adult package:
This package is designed for the adult pet
ages 7 years and older (although it can be performed on younger pets if
you want to do the most for your pet). It includes all of the
services in the Healthguard III package as well as the
following services and products at a 20% savings (average
savings $160.00!)
- Radiographs (x-rays) of the Chest
- Radiographs (x-rays) of the Abdomen
- 6 lead Electrocardiogram
(note, most pets will be mildly sedated to get the
radiographs)
Healthguard V-- Mature Adult package:
This package is designed for the adult pet
ages 7 years and older (although it can be performed on younger pets if
you want to do the most for your pet). It includes all of the
services in the Healthguard III package as well as the
following services and products at a 20% savings (average
savings $160.00!)
- Ultrasound examination of the heart
(echocardiogram)
- Ultrasound examination of the Abdomen
(note, most pets will be mildly sedated to get the
radiographs and ultrasound)
