Alta Rancho Pet & Bird Hospital offers basic grooming services for dogs, cats and birds.  We use the patented Hydro-surge bathing system to ensure deep down cleansing and conditioning of the skin.  
 

Dog and Cat Grooming Services Available:

We offer the following grooming services for dogs and cats:

  •     Flea Baths

  •     Medicated Baths

  •     Nail Trimming

  •     Anal Sac Cleaning

  •     Prescription Flea and Tick Dips that last 1 month or longer

  •     De-matting

  •     Whole Body Shave-down 
        (generally requires doctor examination and sedation or anesthesia)

Avian Grooming Services Available:

We offer the following grooming services for birds:

  •     Beak Trims

  •     Nail Trims

  •     Wing Clipping

  •     Band Removal (requires Doctor exam and may require sedation or anesthesia)

Grooming Policies:

The following policies apply to our grooming services:

  • Appointments for grooming services are highly recommended.

  • Pets must be current on all vaccinations in order to be admitted for grooming.

  • Pets must be dropped off prior to 11:00 AM for same day discharges. 

  • Birds must be dropped off and left for at least 4 hours for grooming services (this is to help them deal with the stress of grooming)
